Position: Floor Covering Installer

Wage: CAD $26.92 to $28.00 per hour, for 30 to 40 hours per week

Job Description / Duties:

• Inspect and measure the area to determine the appropriate flooring materials and the amount needed

• Cut, shape, and fit flooring materials to match the room's specifications, including trimming edges and corners

• Remove existing flooring (if necessary), including carpet, tiles, marbles, or hardwood, and prepare the sub-floor for new materials

• Use adhesives, nails, or staples to secure the flooring in place, ensuring that it is installed properly and securely

• Ensure the seams between floor panels or tiles are properly aligned and seamless for a polished look

• Follow safety procedures to avoid accidents and injuries, including the proper handling of tools and equipment

• Address any issues or concerns raised by clients after installation, including minor repairs or replacements

직무 내용:

• 바닥재 설치에 필요한 재료의 종류 및 수량을 결정하기 위해 작업 공간을 측정하고 점검

• 실내 공간의 규격에 맞게 바닥재를 절단, 모양 잡기 및 가장자리 정리

• 기존 바닥재(카펫, 타일, 대리석, 마루 등)를 제거하고 신규 자재를 위한 하부 바닥 준비

• 접착제, 못, 스테이플 등으로 바닥재를 고정하여 견고하고 안전하게 설치

• 바닥재나 타일 간의 이음새를 매끄럽게 정렬하여 마감 품질 향상

• 도구 및 장비 사용 시 안전수칙을 철저히 준수

• 설치 후 발생할 수 있는 고객 불만 또는 요청사항 처리, 경미한 수리 및 교체 포함
