Job Duties:
• Lead and oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, recipe development, and quality control, ensuring that all dishes meet the highest standards of authenticity, presentation, and safety
• Personally prepare and cook a diverse range of authentic Korean dishes, including the restaurant’s signature items, using traditional Korean culinary techniques and recipes to preserve the integrity and quality of each dish;
• Collaborate with management to create seasonal and special menus aligned with current trends, and develop or adapt recipes to meet evolving customer preferences
• Maintain strict quality standards for taste, presentation, and portion size while optimizing profitability and adhering to all regulatory and company sanitation requirements;
• Supervising and training junior kitchen staff and cooks on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures;
• Delegating tasks effectively and monitoring productivity to maintain smooth operations during peak service hours.
• Oversee ingredient preparation in advance to ensure efficiency and timeliness during busy periods
• Manage inventory levels, track deliveries, and ensure proper storage to keep the kitchen fully equipped at all times
• Handle special service requirements, including take-out and catering orders, ensuring punctual preparation and delivery. Resolve customer complaints professionally, incorporating feedback to improve dishes and service quality
• Lead recruitment, hiring, training, and performance evaluation of kitchen staff, fostering a skilled and motivated team that consistently meets operational and culinary excellence standards
